It has been such a pleasure serving as Mountain View’s PTSO president this year.  We are so very fortunate that our children attend such a great school filled with such dedicated educators and parents. I appreciate all of the time and effort that everyone has devoted to making Mountain View High School a school of Excellence. I wish the incoming president much success!  I look forward to continuing to work on the PTSO Executive Board next year. Mountain View High School stands out above all of the rest because of YOU!  

                           MOUNTAIN VIEW PTSO Elections

PTSO Elections will be held at our May.   We have several vacancies that will need to be filled on the Executive Board of our PTSO.  We are in need of parents and guardians eager to be involved in the school community. 

                           MOUNTAIN VIEW PTSO Scholarship
The Mountain View High School PTSO is very proud to offer two $500 scholarships to graduating Mountain View students.  These students will be recognized at the June Senior Awards Night.  Check our PTSO website in June to see which two Outstanding Mountain View students received these scholarships.

The Mountain View PTSO would like to thank all of the parents who sent in food items or made a monetary donation for the Staff Appreciation Breakfast that was held on April 6, 2009.  The teachers and staff were so wonderfully surprised and impressed with the hard work and effort that went into making this day special for them.  The breakfast was just one way that the parents were able to show how special all of the teachers and staff are to the parents of Mountain View students.  There were so many wonderful comments from the Staff on how OUTSTANDING your show of appreciation was to them.  Thank you so much for making that day one of the most memorable for the Staff at Mountain View!

                             SACS Review Breakfast
Our Mountain View PTSO sponsored the breakfast for the SACS Review representatives that were here at Mountain View on April 28 and 29.  Some of the PTSO Executive Board members who were in attendance at the SACS Review Parent Meeting were President, Bridget Carter and After Prom Chairperson, Susan Goodrich.  We had the opportunity to meet with the SACS Review Panel to share a parent perspective on Mountain View High School community

After Prom was a huge success!  Many thanks to Susan Goodrich, the Executive Board of our PTSO, and the many teachers and parents for the many hours of time they devoted to making this event special for the students at Mountain View
